A daffodil is blooming!

Yeah, just the one, but it's my first bloom of the season so I was tickled to see it.

Took a tour of my yard this morning--the tulips and hyacinths are sprouting, the Bradford pear is budding and the spirea hedge is leafing out, so it won't be long now. Watched the bluejays doing their spring thing and saw a big fat robin already, too.

Baby barf-o-rama

Had to change Brittany's clothes and my own three times already today. Geez Louise! Bathed her and took a shower and now we both smell much better.

The doctor didn't test her for RSV yesterday--he just diagnosed her with an upper respiratory infection and gave her some Rondec. She weighed in at 13 pounds, 14 ounces, so she's tripled her birth weight in less than six months.

Her mom and dad are taking her home later today, so I'm hoping for a leisurely weekend. I am worn to a nub.

Well, crap

Figured it would happen, but hoped not.

Brittany had a rough episode this morning, so her mom took her to see the doctor--I'm still waiting to hear how it went. I'm afraid she might RSV, too.

Kayla has RSV

So we're keeping the baby over here for a few days. Brittany's been blessedly healthy up to this point in her short little life, but she does have a little bit of a cough today. No fever, though. I hope she doesn't come down with RSV, too.

Well, allrighty then

And away we go.

Hey, I'm blogging!

Been busy tweaking the colors on this thing. I'm still not happy but I'm tired of messing with it for now. I'll try again later -- maybe. I told everybody I was gonna start this blog right after Britt was born, and it only took me five months to get around to it.
